2012 Ladies Northerns
PAG&CC was host to 12 teams at the Northerns. After a weekend of great shot making and super curling 4 teams emerged victorious.
The teams advancing to provincials in Humboldt are:

A Event - Rachel Fritzler - Granite CC, Saskatoon
B Event - Jill Shumay - Nutana CC, Saskatoon
C Event - Darlene Gillies - Kerrobert CC
Robyn Silvernagle - Meadow Lake CC

Region 12 Men's Playdowns
11 teams competed in La Ronge this weekend, January 13 - 15, in the region 12 men's playdowns. Teams entered are: Ylioja, Tomporowski, Shillington, Olson, Reiben, Sweatman, Martens, Rindal, Phelps, Spriggs & McBeath.
The 4 teams advancing to Northerns in Nipawin are: Ylioja of La Ronge, Spriggs of Shellbrooks, Martens of La Ronge & Doug Phelps of PAG&CC.
Thompson Trophy
5 teams competed this weekend, January 7 - 9 , 2012 for the Thompson Trophy. Bryan Rindal, Pete Reiben, Cliff McBeath, Doug Phelps and Robin Shillington teams played round robin games. In the playoff final, Cliff McBeath's team defeated Doug Phelps 5 - 4. All 5 teams will participate in SCA Region Men's Playdowns in La Ronge January 13 - 15, 2012 with 4 teams advancing from there to northerns in Nipawin.

Senior Mens' Tuff Spiel
46 participants took part in the Annual Senior Mens' Tuff Spiel January 7 - 8, 2012. Each player had 2 games Saturday and 2 games Sunday.

Discover Curling - Adult Learn to Curl
PAG&CC is offering another session of Adult Learn to Curl. The sessions will run Wednesdays 7:30 - 8:30 pm from January 18 to March 7. The cost is $60. For more info, contact the curling office 765-5203.

The Prince Albert Golf & Curling Club is one of the largest clubs in Saskatchewan. The Club was formed in the late 1880s and moved to the present building in 1968. Our building offers 8 sheets of curling ice, viewing area, locker rooms, lounge, kitchen and meeting/banquet rooms.
Our facility has been host to many national curling events as well as numerous provincial playdowns and provincial championships.
There are many different leagues to suit all ages and all types of curlers. We offer evening and daytime leagues for men, women, senior, junior and mixed.
Come and join us, you will soon realize how much fun you will have; it is a great social, fun, exciting and physically active sport and a lifelong sports.
